An easy driving light mod
Just did this on my 86....the stock driving lights are 33 watts which is not very much...you can replace these 33 watt bulbs with 50 watt bulbs, it makes a big difference in output. Replace the bulbs with 50 watt bulbs part number 885. This is no problem as the circuit can handle 20 amps, but you will need to replace the 10 amp fuse with a 15 amp fuse. It is the same circuit as the taillights.
The bulbs and fuse should cost about $15 altogether. Be careful when replacing b/c the halogen lights are easy to snap off when reinserting, and don't touch the bulbs. :auto:
