What MPG with Hotcam?

What is your average MPG on LT1 or LT4 near stock with 6 speed? :steering:

Mine's not near stock, but I still get 26-27 mpg out on the highway at 75-85 mph with the hotcam. With 3.73 gears, the engine is turning about 2000 rpm at 80 mph and that seems to be where it gets the best mileage. Some people on the forum don't like the hotcam, but I sure do.

Stock, I got 24.85 on one particular interstate trip. Usually averaged 21. With hotcam I dropped to 18 and 19. Since editing program, I have not checked. Will know soon, though. One really needs to edit program after hotcam and especially after adding intake and exhaust enhancements.

I f I drive like a normal person,and depending on road conditions I usually get 26-28 mpg.

:confused: Mine without the hotcam average 22 mpg. Granted that the stock programing is on the rich side. By these replys, it sounds like with the cam(and extras) in addition to programming, I will be better off all around :cheers:
