I do not know the max numbers, but ski_dwn_it and Corkvette ran the Ford injectors in their 406's and Cork ran 10.9's all day. They will be using the same injectors in their new 434's putting out at least 600hp at the crank.
Go with the Ford's perfect fit, and are actually 26# when using gm's terms.
You may want to go with the lower # fuel injectors with your set up. Other forum members have had problems with rich conditions caused by too large of injectors (better rich than lean understood). :seeya
Yes Bosch are great injectors and the FMS injectors are Bosch injectors as well. I don't know what 28 #s you are looking at but if they are the LS1s you need to make shure they are the Z06 injectors or they are only 26#s. The P/Ns for the 28# LS1s are 0280155931 (Bosch #0-280-155-931) If the P/N is not this then they are the 26 #s like SLP is selling for $99
Get the FMS 24# injectors, and an AFPR, set fuel pressure at about 40-42psi
and you should be a-ok.
I too am thinking about getting these FMS 24# injectors. My engine is mostly stock right now. I am upgrading throttle body to 52mm in the next two weeks, magnaflow catback, and hooker supercomp headers and all soon too. But I still need to get the car inspected, so lets say I put these FMS 24# injectors in, and get a adjustable fuel pressure regulator, will my car fail emissions because it run too rich, or will in not be very rich?? This is a big concern of mine. I want to upgrade vette, but of course want to drive between upgrades, and I don't want it running and smelling like crap.
