Default need some help....quick!!!

Well, I had bullet mufflers with chrome tips installed on the wife's 91 today and she thinks that it is too loud. She then told me that she thought that it needed to be louder because I thought so and she was trying to please me. This is where I need help. Does anyone have the "sound killer" convertible compartment divider in their car? If so, does it work first of all? Does it really kill the sound? Also, does it make getting into the rear to grab things a pain in the butt? Quick advice needed, because I may need to order it tomorrow if it really works. Concerning the mufflers. Two polished stainless steel bullet mufflers with chrome tips $230 out the door. That my friends is too hard to pass up.

I am also interested in the compartment divider, but don't want to fork out the money if it doesn't cut back noise. Let us know how it works. :yesnod:

It takes a little while to grow accustomed to the new "tone".

Tell her you're "working on" a solution; meanwhile go for some cruizes to promote "adaptation".

You might also remind her that a Corvette is a performance sports car not a luxury sedan...albiet with a little more tact than that. ;)
