Default when I rebalance the engine..

..should I take away the "tiny" wieghts on the dualmass before i leave the rotating assembly and FW to the shop?

If it where me I would have the rotating assy int. ballanced and have the flywheel zero ballanced before hand. I don't know what crack GM was smoking when they decided it was a good idea to do final ballancing by adding/subtracting weight to the flywheel. The fact they counter balanced the flywheel is fine as long as they would have left it the same and not started drilling on the dam thing if it the assy was out of tolerance. I mean what the F@$#@$ are you suposed to do if you break or Warp a fly wheel? Disasemble the motor and have it reballanced?

haha i hear ya.. No, its going to be external balanced due to how much more a internal ballanced crank is. When I need to swap FW i just transfer the balance to the new one :)
