Is there any way to purchase uncoated Hooker 2149's?

Yeah dont they make em painted black? Thats how I got my 2151's. They are getting a jet hot coating right now! :flag

Well maybe they dont.... I looked them up at summit and now I see whatcha talkin about with the 2149's? I dunno...

Whats wrong with having them coated? b-sides money? :confused:

I plan on having them coated (or recoated) on my own... I just thought I could save a few bucks if I could find them uncoated from the factory.

2149s cannot be purchased uncoated.

Hooker 2151 headers (no smog provisions) are uncoated. The same exact header, coated, is 2151-1. All 2149s (with smog hook ups) are coated. Check with Bradvette. He bought a set of coated Hookers and sent them to HPC for coating. I don't know if he got some kind of "deal" or not. He can tell you. By the way, the Hookers that ARE coated, are coated on the outside, only. Unless you have BIG plans for the future of your engine, you should consider smaller tubed headers. You don't want to get beat by a stock Crossfire, do you? See you at test and tune, 4/10?
