Re: Scan Tools (tsmsck)
 I believe I have the EZ link Auto scan for my 88
It has recently paid for itself ( I bought it from a fellow Forum Member for $ 100) in helping me ind system gremlins which turned out to be cheap and easy fixes, instead of my old way of buying new oarts till I soved the problem :D
Good article on scanners at http://www.idavette.net by H Halverson. The vocabulary includes scanners, code resets, birectional, and OBDI and OBDII. Good luck with your research and purchase.
My personal favorite is a used SnapOn MT2500 with appropriate cartridge. Works on my Dodge, Corvette, Ford Ranger, and Merc, has ABS capability, SRS, and numerous test procedures. I like it better than the Tech1A, screen numbers are bigger.
