Default Change oil light

I changed my oil at 46,600 miles,I now have 49,700 miles and the change oil light came on, I checked the oil and it is up to the full mark, it looks a little dirty so I will change it tomorrow, can I drive the car for a few more miles before I change it tomorrow, I have been using Mobile 1 5w30 and this is about when I planned on changing the oil but I need to use the car to go to court tomorrow about 10 miles away, any help please. And will the change oil light go out when I change the oil tomorrow.

Thanks
Kevin

To reset the light, key on, press the ENG/MET button, within 5 seconds press it again, then press and hold the GAUGES button till the change oil light starts flashing, continue to hold till it stops flashing.

The early oil sensors took into account mileage and engine temperature. But they based the intervals on dyno oil, rather than synthetic.

Do yourself a favor, and check out this oil study. It will show you just how long you can go between oil changes, when using synthetics. Oil life monitor or not, I run the oil 7500 miles, minimum.
