They have high performance and even factory style at prices lower than that! Does the $592 include installation?!?!?!?
Good luck!

Re: Rear leaf spring is cracked - HELP!!! (Whitvette)
http://www.contemporarycorvette.com. Bought one a few years ago for $125. My buddy cleaned his suspention with a harsh cleaner that caused it to break. We laugh about it now. He cleaned it to death. It took about 1 hr to install. Dont worry about buying used. They say the springs maintain tension because they are plastic. My car has 255K and springs are fine. Good Luck
Re: Rear leaf spring is cracked - HELP!!! (Pete K)
I remember reading posts about how new ones raised the ride height. The guy called the place he bought it from, verified that he had the correct spring and was told that the car would settle to the normal height in a short time.
It didn't!
My rear spring has been splintered for almost four years and I'm not even thinking about changing it.

What's "normal"? when they start to splinter, they also sag - quite a bit, really.
you will need an alignment.
Consider doing the rear u-joints at the same time... your 1/2 way there... and the rear diff oil.

Harsh degreasers remove the protective coating on the fiberglass thus they weather and splinter. Eagle 1 tire cleaner can also contribute to this. Who knew!?!
