I cannot definativly identify my flywheel so I am looking for some help. I removed it from my 92 LT1 and cannot confirm if it is original or not. It appears to be a cast metal piece and these are the only idenifying stampings I have found on the back:
GM2
316Y
10125380A N (I am not sure about the 'N' because it is hard to make out)
I have to order a clutch and need to be sure before I make the order. Any help would be appreciated. Sorry but I have no pics. One other thing of note is that the backside of this flywheel is hollow making is considerably lighter than some other flywheels I have seen.
Then it isn't the original flywheel. I haven't done the Camaro single mass conversion, but if you pulled it out of a Vette and it worked ok, then someone before you did. From what I've read, you will still use a Corvette clutch even thought the flywheel is from a Camaro.

:iagree:
you will use the corvette pressure plate with a camaro friction disc.
I am a little confused here as to the differences in the clutches. I am about to buy a Centerforce dual friction clutch to mate up to my Camaro single mass flywheel. Should I be buying a Camaro clutch or a Corvette one?
you need a Camaro clutch disc, 26spline * 1 1/8 ", its a sprunged disc, that dampens the torsional forces... you can also use a stock disc, which is not sprunged, but i would go with i sprunged one
then you need a corvette pressure plate, which is a pull type....you can use your stock one, if it is in good condition.....

This is exactly what I did when I converted t a ZF from a 4+3. went with the Camaro SLP sprung hub and a stock Valeo PP.
