I used 1/8 mile ET x 1.55 = estimated 1/4 mile ET
1/8 MPH x 1.26 = estimated 1/4 mph
I used 1/8 mile ET x 1.55 = estimated 1/4 mile ET
1/8 MPH x 1.26 = estimated 1/4 mph

Remember these are only estimates. The only way to truely know is to run the car down the 1/4 track.
Case in point. I know some old timers up in these parts that are heavily into 1/8 running. They have 4.56 gears behind hoppped up 406 CI motors turning mid 6sec 1/8 miles. I stopped at the one guy radiator shop the one night and we started talking 1/4 mile times. He was braggin how his truck would run low 10s. I told him there was no way it would do those sorta times with the way it was setup. Few weeks later again I stopped into BS a little with him. He reluctantly showed me a slip from the 1/4 mile track he finally went to. 11.2sec was all he got. He only showed me because he was baffled at how my car went 11.02sec with barely a 6.9sec 1/8 mile time and his was much faster in the 1/8. I explained it to him this way. He is setup for the 1/8 mile and it severely over revving the motor past its power when trying to run the truck through the 1/4. He is tacking 7500+ RPM when going through the traps in the 1/4!!!!
Not saying that this is the case here with this car, just beware formulas can't capture all the necessary information needed to give an accurate estimate.
Run her down the 1/4 if you get a chance and you will get your TRUE ET

I live 1.5 miles from an 1/8 mile track. The 1/4 mile track is over 100 miles. I seldom get there. Competition is good, the people are great At the local track. Yes 1/4 is fun but I have fun running 1/8 and dont spend the day on the road. Dont knock it till you try it. :chevy

A standard formula to calculate 1/4 mile time is 1/8 time times 1.5 plus 0.5 seconds. Not perfect, but it is really close for most cars that are not tuned specifically to the 1/8 mile.
