i'm wanting to change rims on my 89 to the Z06 syle rim...however i wanna run 275/40zr17 in the front and 315/35zr17 in the rear...problem no one makes a 17x11 Z06 wheel but they do make a 18x10.5 wheel .. so my question is does anyone know the crossover size of a 315/35/17 to an 18 inch rim keeping the 17's diameter and width as well as overall highth?? i have tried findin a tire calculator but had no luck ..thanks in advance
My stock 275/40-17 GY Eagles are 25.5" dia; go to Tire Rack and look up the specs. on some 18" performance tires. You may be able to find a tire with nearly the same dia.
Well, I found a 295/30-18 that was 25" dia. so it looks like a 315/30-18 might do the job...if you can find that size.
thanks ....i went to tirrack...as i should have to begin with :banghead: it seems 295/35/18 is the ticket... it is as close to 315/35 as i can get it is a sahde taller than the 275/40 but not nuch and has a nice .9 inch wider footprint ...
