Default Cyl Heads

Ok guys and gals. Got the valve covers off the only #'s I find are cast in
14011049 or 110459 along with a bowtie and a stamp # F850. No listing on the GM perform. parts list. Any idea if these are GM Perf. heads or have I been hose'd?
Thanks for all the help I know I've been a pain the last few weeks with all the problems. :flag

Unless they changed since '88, you should find a stamping with a number ending in....113 somewhere in there.

Interesting. Those are casting numbers from a 1982 GM 350...hmm.

Here is some info on that casting number

Bowtie, Phase 6, alm., angle plug, 55cc, 2.02-1.6 or 2.1-1.65, 180cc intake

That is EXACTLY what they are. Chevrolet, Bowtie, aftermarket, high performance, aluminum heads. If it does in fact have 55 cc chambers (they could have been enlarged, like mine) and "D" exhaust ports they are the Phase 6 heads. Be careful if you plan to make any changes. The exhaust valve guides and the rocker stud holes have been relocated. Conventional guide plates are not supposed to work properly. This is not the newest technology, but *I* think they are great heads. Nice find!

RACE ON!!!
