noise?
Ok, so I got this clanging sound that only appears after the engine gets warm.
I thought it was a loose bolt on the exhaust, but I can't find one. I have a ZF6; the clutch and throughout bearing only have 10K on them. The noise sounds like it is coming from the bell housing. It is not in rythm with the engine. When there is vibration from the engine reving down the noise is very apparent.
Any Ideas?

I can hear it best when I go through the drive through at micky-d's. I don't ever ride on the pass. side, so I don't know. I jacked the car up and could not definitively determine where the sound was coming from. I think I'm going to buy a mecanics stethescope. Hopefully that will point me in the right direction. Has anyone ever heard of a flywheel coming loose before?
