What is the best "FREE MOD"

What do you all think the best free mod is?

It's not free but a factory shop manual is the best "mod" you can buy.

I voted for "Cut-back spark plugs" because it can be applied to any SBC but, for an '88-'91 L98 I think "Toss the frisbee" has a slight edge in CHP gain.

Though not realy "free", a 160deg stat & fan swith is right up there too.

A disk that acts as a "damper" mounted on one of the pulleys at the front of the engine. GM added this to the later L98's to absorb vibrations. I believe from the Air Conditioning System. This "frisbee" adds drag. That is why guys remove them and toss them aside. My 86 did not have one. :D

OK Midnight89, now you've opened up the door of possibility... how about getting a hot chick to remove the "frisbee", cut back the spark plugs, clean up a little and then go for a ride.... ;)

weight reduction! literaly take everything usless out of the vette! who needs the spare,passenger seat or mirrors!lets get freaky and take off 2 lugs on each wheel and save,plus less rotational mass! don't laugh..some of us do it :thumbs:
