Default racetronix harness question

For those of you with the Racetronix C4 fuel pump harness, which way did you run it from the relay to the fuel pump? Did you go around the driver side, by the antenna motor? Did you run it under the tank, above the spare tire? Or did you get it over the tank? Any pics would help. Thanks.

you cant run it over the tank since the relay is too big to squeeze between the body/tank gap.

Instead I ran my wiring along the brake lines (i was able to squeeze it on top of the brake lines actually).

THe trickiest part is crossing the drive axle junction. If you are too close to the drive axle you run the risk of severing the wire...and hence your fuel supply.

What I did was ran it up along the frame/suspension by the drivers side rear wheel.

I did have to cut the wire at one point and splice it back together.

Good luck.

Mounting the relay is tricky. I wanted to mount mine inside of the frame rail since if say, some pyscho was ramming my rear bumper and trying to kill me, my fuel pump relay would be safe.

But for the moment, I mounted my relay on the outside of the frame rail where the spare tire bolt carrier is.

Do not deviate from the pictures in our ad.
The relay mounts in one location near the DSR tire.
The wires route to the tank beside the spare tire then behind the tank and up.
The fuse cap and fuse should be removed to reduce the cable bulk. Route the wire following the brake lines to the front under the car. Come up behind the brake booster and then over to the alternator.

The harness is an easy fit and DOES NOT require modification or cutting to install it!!!

I thought it was a "natural" install.

Just cleared a touch of rear bumper foam to snake the Racetronix harness connection up to the factory stuff.

Next was an easy bolting of the relay to the frame.

Then I loosened the drivers side rear wheel well liner and ran the wiring through there. It ended up dropping down by the brake lines and I just followed them the rest of the way.

Racetronix has this setup ironed out. It's very tough to screw up.
