chip burning setup ???'s
I'd like to get started in burning my own chips. That way I can take a few different chips down to the track and see what works.
What exactly do I need to start burning? I have a handheld scan tool but that's it as far as anything to read the computer. Where's a good place to buy the equipment?
Also, what part numbers and where do I buy the blank chips for the car? It's an '88.

I can't make any recomendations for burners, I have a pilot u40 that was 'donated'. For chips I highly recommend buying a Moates adpater, with ZIF socket and 29C256 chips.

I just got the BURN1 programmer, GP1 adapter and chips to use, and HDR1 adapter to read my stcok chip. Great deal and works perfectly. Of course I already have a scan tool which you will need if you don't have already. :flag
