EAC and EAS solenoids

EAC and EAS solenoids
Does anyone have any idea what EAC and EAS solenoids are. I need to kn ow if I need to use them. I have a totally different ECU running my motor so I need to know if I can just cap the plug in connectors, or simply plug them into their respective solenoids and tuck them out of the way somewhere in the engine compartment.

I don't recognize them either... My service manual's pages are all gone.... I think it may have something to do with emissions.... My local chevy dealers also have no clue....
