Default 96 Sport seat problems

I ahve a 96 with power sport seats. The problem is: when the switch is set to the drivers seat everything works correctly. When I switch it to the passenger seat the pneumatic part works good but the drivers seat still moves. Any thoughts?

Thanks

sounds like the switch is boogered up.

You may want to remove the switch from the console and clean it with electrical contact cleaner.

You didn't indicate when/how the problem started, have you done any work on the seats? This symptom will occur if the switch harness is connected to the left motor harness rather than to the jumper harness so if you've been into the console check to make sure everything got plugged back together properly. Another thing to check are the three solenoids on the jumper harness, beneath the driver's seat - switch the solenoids from one position to another and see if the problem "moves" with the switch, if so one of the solenoids is bad. If none of that works, then the problem probably is the switch itself - not good if so, it's an expensive part.
