getting it up!
Passenger window is stuck down. Neither side sw will move window up nor down.
Any way to move the window back up manually, until I get the motor fixed?

If the switch is bad you could jumper it to get the get the motor to move the window.
If the motor is shot you will need to remove the door panel, and manually turn the drive gear to close the regulator scissor and raise the window.

Thanks. I tried jumping straight to the motor to no avail. The manual says there is always voltage to the motor but the switch connects ground to it. Either way I couldn't get the motor to move.
Any reason not to grab the 12v directly from the battery?
I wonder if I have to disconnect any gearing to be able to manually move the large sprocket.

Re: getting it up! (tailgunner)
A followup, as I wish others did once they figured out their prob...
I read the manual wrong, there is no voltage at rest to the switch. I applied 12 volts directly from the battery and grounded the other side from the battery gd and the window went up! Reversed polarity and the window goes down. New driver side switch is going in.
Too bad the play on words got more posts than the actual prob.
