Since I've had the cluster blues for sometime, I've read all the forum responses I could find  and had a good many responses :D I've also searched the web, and found the topic title company to have a very nice illustration on repair :D I also ordered Gordon Killebrews book and I have the Helms manuals. So I have a good backround (I Believe) on the problem areas-most often grounds.Pulled the cluster, cleaned the pins, did the ambient sensor thing-and still had the blues :cry So I ordered from the above company, simply because I'm not comfortable soldering on a circuit board (call me chicken) Now Corvette86 responded with a negative about this company :( Has anyone else done business with them? and any positives? or negatives would be appreciated
I used this service for my dash module in my 86 coupe and I have been very satisfied. I tried the pin cleaning also, but it turned out that my problem was a bad power supply. Corvette dash cluster service replaced the power supply and It has worked flawlessly for the last 9 months. Service was quick and cost competitive. I would not hesitate to use them again. Good Luck
Yup, just had him do my 85 cluster. He ended up replacing the PS and a few other parts. I checked the work, and it looks excellent, he even sealed it from moisture when he was done with it. HIGHLY recommend him. He turned it around in less than a week, it was the price he advertised and my dash works like new. What else can you say???? :)
$175 exchange $300 core deposit.Installed it yesterday and seems everything is OK  When they say Gene-that's Gene Taber with Corvett dash cluster service
