Door locks not working??? HELP
I have a 89 Vette Coupe. The door locks where working fine till one day the drivers door would lock but not the passenger door. Neither door will unlock. I am using an aftermarket alarm system for about two years. When I press the switch on the door, I here what sounds like a relay clicking. It is very low. My question is, Is there a relay for the door locks? If so where? I checked all the fuses, They where all fine. I have not removed the door panel and checked the wires with a test light. I thought I would ask before I get involved in this. Thanks

There is no relay, power goes directly from the fuse to the switches and then to the lock solenoids.
However, the grounding is done through two of the three Blk wires on the passenger lock switch; one Blk wire runs from the driver lock switch to the passenger lock switch. So you might start investigation with the right door lock switch.
