Tracking down an oil leak
If the oil leak is found to be coming from the Opti-spark, how is this remedied? It looks like it would be a major tear-down to get the Opti off.
Any ideas would be helpful and appreciated.

the leak could be from the intake manifold. check to see if the area where the intake meets the block is damp. The intake is a common source of oil leaks.
otherwise, it is a total teardown of the front of the motor... sorry... :(
