Default What's missing?

I just had the intake gasket replaced, went snooping around under the hood and there appears to be something missing. Looks like a bolt or stud or ? that threads into the front of the intake manifold just below the thermostat housing? Possibly a bracket of some sort? Looks to small to be a sensor location, more like it should hold a 9/16 to 5/8 headed bolt. The threads are shiny, definitely not been missing long, that's what is making me think the mechanic forgot something.

Thanks in advance,

Mark

There should be a short bracket to the rear of the AIR pump or ALT (not sure).

Thanks for the reply. I went to look, the AIR is closest, but no open holes on it's bracket. There is a short arm that goes from the AIR bracket to the top of the intake right in front of the injector boss, and it is secure.

I'm now wondering if the threads are all shiny from when the manifold was cleaned up prior to re-install?

I can take a digital picture if that helps.

Thanks again.

OK, I just took a look at my intake and there is an unused boss just in front where that AIR pump bracket bolts onto the intake base.

I think you are ok...no missing parts.

Yep, I saw that one too. The other one I'm seeing is on the front of the manifold just below the thermostat, threads in horizontally.

I just took pictures of both, will email you if thats OK?

Thanks so much for your help!
