I need spark plug wires for my 86. What does everyone here recommend?
Also, where is the cheapest prices? Would it be better if I got 8.5mm wires over 8mm? Opinions please!
If you want them to look stock & fit the stock looms yet have much lower resistance than stock go with TPIS wires. I run these in the Vette with stock exhaust manifolds.
If you want the lowest resistance go with MSG 8.5mm SuperConductors and Made For You looms from Summit. I run these in the IROC with LT headers. Taylor now also makes a very low resistance wire but I don't know the call out on it.

I agree with all that have replied to this topic. You should use spark plug wires.
Seriously, one thing I have found is cheaper isn't always better. I tried the AutoZone set. The worked fine. The routing was a little rough. I used the Taylor semi custom set. I had to put one end on. Insulation was great and it made the engine run smooth and look pretty. It is up to you which works best for the buck.
