HELP!!! Pulled codes, nothing but 12's...
I know it is supposed to flash 12's three times, then codes then 12's three times to show complete. It just kept flashing 12's the whole time ignition was on. Does this mean I don't have any problem codes????????????
I know I have to have a code or two in this old 86 Vette, any ideas?????????? :banghead:

I did disconnect battery for mods done on Wednesday, so I'm sure codes (if any) were lost. Have driven couple hours run-time since. How long 'til they would reappear??????? :confused:

I'm no authority, but I think if you had any non-intermittent engine codes, they would show up by now. Some chassis codes will only show after certain speeds. If the engine has never come back up to full temp since you cleared the codes, then some engine codes will not have reappeared...but generally....they should have appeared now. I'm sure others can give you a more definitive answer.

why are you searching for trouble codes? Why you suspect to have stored some code?
When a genereic code occurs (while you are driving) you can see it on the panel with the light SES service engine soon.
If you are driving in the sunllight it's probably that you can't see this light...
In any case if you used the car for two hours and no codes were stored you have to be happy of this.
