Default 13" Brake Conversion Question

Hey guys,I just got some 13" rotors and need to know what caliper brackets I need to install them on my 91 Vette.

The rotor part numbers are:

LH-10052203
RH-10052204

I'm assuming my current caliper brackets will not work as these rotors are 1" larger diameter than the ones on there now.

Here's the questions:

1) Anybody got part numbers for the caliper brackets?
2) Anybody know what brackets I should ask for.
3) Are these the "J55" rotors?

Edit: Last question:
4) Will these work with my 17" Sawblades?

Lots of questions here!

Are they C5 13" or J55?

Assuming they are C5, in addition to your newly acquired roters, you will need C5 alipers and you will need adapters to bolt the calipers to you steering knuckles. Stock hoses work fine

Your 17" sawblades will not work without "spacers", the C5 caliper is too wide.

If you are talking J55 system, I think but am not certain that everything will bolt up fine including the wheels

If you are adding C5 system, look for Ed Salinas here on the Forum, he has the adapters you need

Hey bro,
I think your part numbers for those rotors are J55's, you'll need the ZR1 brackets to mount 'em. That's what I have on my '92, and the stock 17" sawblades work just fine. Here's a way to make sure. Check out Jeff Kopps web site and measure the thickness of the rotors.........

That should clear it up for you.

These are C4 13" rotors.

Hey Ed,

Thanks for the info. I think these ARE the J55 rotors.
But I don't know for sure. GM Parts Direct just calls them rotors for a Crovette with HD Suspension.

I've got all the parts to put the C5 Brakes on my 91 but bought these rotors with calipers off eBayer.

In any case I'd like to have the complete setup for these which right now only needs the caliper brackets and caliper pins.

I'll check with Jeff tommorow.

Edit: Crovette .... must be the C7 :)

BTW... I GOT my C5 caliper brackets forthe C5 brake conversion from Ed.
Beautiful Parts...Highly Reccomended
