One question:

How much money do you want to spend?

First thing should be heads and cam. If you have some serious dinero to spend, stroke it, slap a miniram or superram on it, high stall torque converter, maybe change ther rear end gears.

Everyone mentioned good paths to take.

With your mods, IF you have a Z51 '85 you should be in the mid to high 13's already.

If you add long-tube headers, it'll make everything flow even better. As someone already asked, it all comes on how much you want to spend.

I went with a superram intake setup, and new heads on top of all the little 'tricks' and bolt-ons out there.. Car runs great.

All I can say is - Stroke it! Stroke it! Stroke it! :yesnod:

Stroker = 383 just in case you are not sure what I am talking about.

Do some searches on 383 or stroker to see what are some proven setups.

Good Luck.
