Although the heads would bolt on they wouldn't work without modification. The coolant passages are different because of the reverse flow design of the LT1. The cam and lifters would work just fine. I believe the oil pump would as well. The timing set would work but you couldn't use the OEM water pump which is driven off of the timing set. Since the LT1 water pump uses a special bolt pattern the only option you have there is to use an electric water pump.

i see you have a 92 lt1.. why would you want to use l98 heads and misc parts on your lt1? if you can get your hands on some lt4 heads and have them ported that is the way to go.

Heads wont work. Internal parts are interchangeable to an extent. Just buy a ZZ4 block if yours in unusable.

The LT1 block is different than the older TPI blocks. You cannot use it.

On the other hand if you want a new block that will work when you go for a rebuild chevrolet still sells them. A new block will not be necessary for your standard rebuild though unless yours has excessive wear or has been overbored already .060" over.

Mine block is fine as it is, but I'd like to buy another and prepare
it for stroker and then just do the swap, and I'd like to get
newer one because it's 4 mains.

350 blocks come in both 2 or 4 bolt mains.

I dont mean to sound negative but I really think you need to do some research before embarking on this yourself. Either that or take your car to a qualified mechanic. A few good books I would recommend are:
How to Build Max Performance Chevy Small Blocks on a Budget by David Vizard
John Lingenfelter on Modifying Small-Block Chevy Engines
Smokey Yunick's Power Secrets
These books are just the top of the iceberg. I am sure other forum members can point you to other articles/books you should read.

If you want the newer style block and the 4 bolt mains, then by all means get one. My feeling is this: Get a LT1 block, heads and manifold, then put a standard HEI small cap distributor in it. You could get the accesories from an LT1 car as well and then it wouldn't be much more than a bolt in. The LTx series heads flow better than the 113's do and the manifold is leaps and bounds ahead of the stock TPI setup for a stroker. (IMHO) Now, do your homework and be prepared to pay the bill. Good luck!!!!
