Test it. I would set it at the stock 6* btdc and make a couple of 1/4 mile passes. Then I'd advance it by 2 to 8* and run it again. What you are looking for is the highest mph. Keep advancing it until the numbers quit improving. Then drop it back to the previous best. Mine is set at 14* btdc. Good luck, and...
