Default Wilcox weatherstripping?

Has anyone used Wilcox weatherstripping, they have items on EBay all the time at very favorable prices, was wondering if any one used the stuff successfully. I have a friend that works at the chevy store that can get me the rear hatch rubber for $100 and the windshield and halo pieces for $160 and $170. I appreciate anyones past experiences with this stuff, Thanks.

I have a wilcox rear window seal. It was installed for me about three months ago. It was thick and made rear window hard to close (still is). At the two corners they have already split. I have since put some silicone on them and they have not gotten any worse, now all I have to do is get the corners glued back together somehow. If it was just a stright piece I would not be at all disapointed. Someone not that long ago told me there is only two companies that make aftermarket weatherstrip so everyone should sell for about the same price with the difference being mark up. I can only assume what I was told is true. Anyway good luck with whatever way you go.

got mine fromTLD for about 110.00 ohhh about three years ago. So far it's still intact but you can tell it will eventually sperate at the ends again.
Make sure there's plenty of lubracant between the rubber and the fiberglass edge were the rubber attaches it's self onto.

I bought from Willcox and so far so good. The weatherstripping is made by Corvette Rubber. Hope it helps! :steering:

I bought a rear hatch weatherstip from them a couple of months ago. When it arrived I tried to install it but the thing was about 6 inches too short. I called them and they immediately sent out a new one and told me not to worry about the first one but let them know if there was any problem with the new one. I need some new door strips and will buy from Wilcox again.

So the new one that they sent fit OK?
