Can anyone describe where all the ground connections are on an 85 Vette. I'd like to make sure all mine are secure, the main reason being that my dash has some flicker and I just replace my alternator, so I'd like to think that's OK. Thanks in advance.

I don't know if an 85 is the same but I found about 4 wires grounded to a transmission bolt when I removed my engine a while back. Have found quite a few under the hood. I haven't really been into my dash but I'm sure you'd find some there too. Good PM, on an older car especially, to check such things.

The engine has several. As mentioned before, check the transmission bolts. The back of the cylinder head on the drivers side and also a large bolt about 3 inches above the oil filter. I haven't a clue about under the dash.
