I've seen in FAQ that P/N were changed from 1227727 -> 16198260.
I have 16198260 on my '90 vette.

Are there any differences in this two or just in number?

The latter number is a 'service replacement' part number.
The ECM's are totally interchangeable.

Haven't checked my number yet. (where did you find yours?) But I know mine was replaced around '93-94 and sure fixed a lot of idle problems I was having. Dealer kept trying to tell me they couldn't find anything wrong but after the 4th visit in a week they suddenly found a replacement prom had been issued...
