hello, just bought a 94lt1 with 70,000 miles,but i have problems. when corvette is started cold runs great until it goes into closed loop. then it intermittently backfires through the intake from a stop. things i have tested engine vaccuum 21 inches at idle,fuel pressure 40psi . replaced plugs and wires flushed injectors sprayed carb clean around intake no leaks noticeable . tested injector resistance hot and cold 11.9-12.3 ohms . no check engine light on any help would be greatly appreciated

that sounds a lot like the opti failing...

 

i was wondering about that maybe crossfiring in the cap

 

:iagree: 60K is about a nomal lower limit on the Opti. Some get lucky and make it over 100K, but that's pretty rare. Check your water pump weep hole.

how would i go about testing the sensor ohm meter and what values would be okay .isnt there two sensors on the pump :smash:
