Hey, this is odd.. Mine too! (I have a similar thread open right now). Right after install of aftermarket system, SYS is flashing 3X on startup.. They killed my battery though when they were putting the system in, so the general opinion is that it's that...

"They suck at installing after market sound systems in Vettes"
SYS flashing on the dash is an indication that the CCM has detected an error in one of the electrical curcuits. One of the most common is when a battery is going bad and the CCM sees voltage below a set level (I think about 10 volts) for a set amount of time. If you have installed an aftermarket radio then the CCM is probably detecting an error in the dimmer curcuit. Here's the TSB for that http://www.corvetteforum.net/c4/dave8476/index4.shtml :steering:
Thanks!! I printed that out, and will bring it to the shop on Tuesday!! That little flashing SYS is starting to drive me crazy!! Plus, while I'm driving, the screensaver on the deck keeps going from single color, to flashing bright, and having the backlight(colors) on, I've been wondering why!!
