Underhood pressure / shaking hood.
This seems to be happening on the highway, especially on windy days... I can see the hood literally bouncing ~1/4". Is this because of underhood pressure, or some other cause, like bad hood hinges or latches? :auto:

i'm pretty sure it's the frame flexing, and the hood not being damped well against the flex. my car did this a ton, but 3/4 of it went away when i installed the R-D camber brace.

I had this same problem. When on the highway, a corvette is at it's best. The desire to literally fly is overwelming..... OK,OK. Really, I did have the same problem. My hood latch, the one with the point and spring on the hood itself, came loose. The nut under the plate, you have to remove it to see, broke lose and allowed the "pin" to move. There was a weld point that broke. Bought some off of ebay, replaced and :thumbs: all is well.

:iagree: same here but it just unscrewed rather than broke...grab the hood at the latch point and see if you can lift it, if theres any slack n the latching mechanisum.
