No Electrical Power
Here's the situation. I have installed a new intake, fuel injectors, RR's and runners on my 90 L98. The alternator is removed, the distributor is in but nothing has been hooked up to it, the fuel injector wiring harness is not connected to the injectors and the plenum is not installed. I hooked up the battery and noticed the interior lights did not come on when the door was opened. I then turned the key to turn over the engine and nothing happened. I am trying to get #1 cylinder to TDC so I can finish installing the RR's.
Do any of the items I have disconnected disable the electrical system? I know this is confusing with everything currently disconnected so I will answer any questions if anyone has an idea but may need some clarification. As always I appreciate the input.

I am wondering if oyu have disconnected a main ground...
check the battery for voltage... and make sure its ok... then follow the main wiring. I donno how the alternator effects this circuit.
