Having a problem with $32 ecu file

I spent the weekend reading the eprom from my 87 vette.

I read the bin file into winbin with the $32 ecu file and some of the data doesn't match up. I thought my bin file was wrong and started looking for problems with my eprom burner.

Finally I found this website with other bin files http://www.diy-efi.org/gmecm/ecm_info/1227165/

and found many to have the same data as mine (ABWT).

The first thing that I found was the fan temps are different.

Is there a different ecu file for my bin?

Try using a $32B ecu file.

I think I tried both the $32 and $32B. I say "I think ", because it's hard to find a good source for the ecu files. Some of the files say $32 and some say $32b. But I'm not really sure.

Also in the address for the fans 2f6 and 2f7, I have 23 and 0B.
If I use the equation cal= (C+40) * (256/192)
I get very stange numbers.

Like he said use $32b, $32 will not be correct for a 87.

The file I had said $32b but it wasn't. I just got the correct $32b and it worked.
