I love how they don't bother to tell you when things are backordered. :( I was supposed to go racing on the 30th but the clutch hose is backordered till 5/3 which stated on the website nor are you told when ordering.
At least they gave me the $3.95 "Rush Delivery" charge back only after I emailed them asking if it had been ordered and then wehen I found out it was backordered ASKED for it to be refunded.
p.s.
I had no choice, they're the ONLY source for this item unless i try to find a shop nearbye to make one.
Yup, I had my most recent order ship seperately the note on the invoice said "item backordered or shipping from alternate location" OOOOOKayayay, uh, so, uh  , I might get it tomorrow or next week or next month or next year or never.

On a better note usually the part get there a little before the backorder date. I think they set up those date a little bit long because they have already screwed up.

Brian, if I can help in any way please let me know. I have ins at just about every GM dealer in the surrounding Albany area. I thought I wasn't going to have the car ready on time for the 30th and I wasn't a happy camper.
I will get on the horn first thing in the morning if your situation hasn't changed. You could definitely get it next day if I find one. If I find one on the 29th I'll meet you somewhere on the pike.
My parts book was printed in 1989. I only mentioned the possibility of a superseding number due to the age of my book. most of the numbers are still current. Just checking to see if you had explored the GM pipeline.
The newer ones are a braided line. I upgraded my 90 to one when I went to the Rippie modified slave cylinder. Knowing what I know now Scorp, I think that you could very well buy a standard braided brake line close to the length you need, and put the proper fittings/adapters on it to fit yours.
