Just rebuilt the L98 in my 85. Now I get Code 22 .TPS voltage low, almost immediately after start up. TPS voltage was set at .544 on initial start up. Adjusted voltage up to .577 with same results. Followed the procedure in the shop manual and varified ECM and wiring are correct. Same procedure says to change the TPS. Did that and still get code 22 immediately after start up.
Reference voltage is dead on 5 volts and there are .4 Ohms resistance in the ground circuit.
Anyone have a clue what is going on in this thing, Haven't run a scan because I don't think it will tell me any more than I already know.
I should add that there are no other codes and engine operation seems normal.
