Default 94 LT1 O2 Sensor replacement question

My 94 C4 LT1 eng has 68k on the orginal O2 sensor and i've been informed that it's a good idea to replace your O2 sensor every 50K, that being the case heres some questions for the forum members.
1. wheres the O2 sensor located?
2. how many O2 sensors are there on a 94 LT1 eng?
3. dose removal of the O2 sensor require special tools?
4. do you recommend that i go to my local auto parts store (auto zone, kragen) to purchase a O2 sensor replacement?
5. where can i purchase that denso O2 sensor from?
thanks boonie

Replacing a O2 sensor is easy. All you need is a 7/8 wrench and your hand to undo the wiring clips. Then a little anti seeze on the new one's and right back in. I think 94's have 3 but I know you got at least 2.

Imagine cats here insted on straight throughs and you get the idea.

94's have 3 02 sensors -- 2 in front of the cats and one behind the passenger side cat. They are easy to replace. I got mine from http://www.tld-corvette.com

You will only need to replace the two in front of the Cats. The one in the back does not determine fuel / air ratio, but lets the computer know the cat is working. Keep the other two you pull out for spares for that one.

you have 3 o2s the denso if you call them they can tell you where to buy them 105.00 a piece list and they will make the engine run a little smother.
also fed law says if the o2 sensor is bad and the car is factory and less than 10 years old or 100,00 the dlr is respondesable for replacement

I assume a 93 also has the O2 sensors that need replacing also. Since I'm in the middle of getting ready to replace plugs, wires, repainting the front end, & also SS brake lines I guess doing a couple of sensors is a piece of cake.

Wow. $105.00? A piece? Damn! Those things better be at least a 20 HP gain! :D
