Default Z06 Wheel info

Just an FYI for those interested in Z06 wheels. They fit late model C4s perfect... Just got a set off an '04 yesterday from a local forum member.

Figure since I got mine alreayd I'd turn all of you onto watching the C5 parts threads. :D

Fronts are listed as 2mm less offset but my level & tape measure show them exactly the same as my factory A-molds. The rears are 18x10.5 and IMHO are gonna look sweet!! Just have to figure out what tires to get. The offset on the rears puts exactly 1/2" in & 1/2" out from the 9.5 wheels. Clears everything & is about 1/4" in from the fender lip.

I'll post pics when I get em installed.

Anyone looking for factory A-molds in 9.5 should start watching the C4 parts thread next month. ;)

For tires I would recommend 275/35 and 295/35. 315 will fit back there though. I found my wheels in C5 also.

Hey Bam,

I already have both 275 & 285/40/17 for the front, hate to just let them go to waste so will run em till they are gone. The rears are where I'm having a hard time deciding. I've been pricing 295/35/18 & they are expensive... found a special on Toyo T1-S though so I'll post a thread on C5 & see if anyone has tried them.

For the rears you are pretty much limited to 295/35/18 if you want to keep the diameter close to what your 285/40/17 was. I don't know if the C5 have more room in the back than the C4s because I've heard some C5 guys running 315 out back and they don't stick out. Did you look at the Kumho Ecsta MX tires? They are only $223 for the 18s from the TireRack, which is reasonable when compared to prices for other 18s.

I'm going to be running Z06 wheels on my ca as well, but I'm going with 18s all around. Going to run 275/35/18 in the front and 295/35/18 in the back. Post some pics when you get yours on.

Yes, fronts are 17x9.5, rear 18x10.5.

& No, hadn't seen the Kumho that cheap on tire rack. Missed that somehow. Will have to look at its wear/trac/temp ratings soon.

Thanks guys!
