I have KYB and they do just fine.

I autocross and they work well. I don't think you can beat it for the price. :D

I suggest you start off with the middle setting.

I have them set to max firmness on the IROC and it IS (realy) stiff.

Hey, I was wondering if any of you guys that have installed the Edlebrock's could post a picture. I'm in the market for new shocks soon and have been leaning toward them. One for the looks and it seems that everyone has been pleased with the performance. Thanks, Al

I just pulled these off today. They have 5700 miles on them and, except for a rub mark on one, look new. Interested?

I could be but it would have to be a great deal. I just spent $3500 on my corvette in the past 3 days and the money has just about run out! Why are you getting rid of them? I'm starting to wonder if these are the way to go or if I should save up my money and get the adjustable ones. Let me know how much you want for them but like I said at the beginning, money is running tight and the deal would have to be right :)

My car has the FX3 suspension package (broken) with Bilstien shocks and it'll rattle your teeth out. No floating at all. Some day I'll fix the system and see how it's supposed to work.

Well, I'm reading all this in amazement - I have the harshest ride you can imagine in my 88. I replaced the shocks 5 weeks ago and the ride got worse !!!!

The company that supplied them say they are the softest shocks they have.

So I have been thinking I need softer springs but Vette Brakes and Prods advised me that the springs I had fitted were probably to suit metal springs not composite.

I'm pretty confused, but reading this thread suggests, I think, that my new shocks are too hard.

I bought a $40 set of Monroe shocks from Advanced Auto about a year ago and have not had any problems. They also came with a lifetime warranty if they did fail. :)

I wish I had revalved my original shocks because in talking to Bilstein that would have been the same price.

I too had the same issue on the interstate. I called Bilstein and asked about options for re-building. After explaining what was happening and what kind of ride I wanted, the guy I talked with suggested to get them re-valved with the "weekend autocross" valving.

The car now has a nice firm ride and takes the interstate overpasses with ease. It is unfortunate that you have had this experience.

Stiff springs feel worse with shocks that are too soft. You need enough control to keep the springs from beating you to pieces, but not too much.

I like the way mine about leaves the paverment when it hits a bump. Tell's me Im on a road that's way too rough and makes me ask the question why is my sorry butt drivng this thing to work anyways? Damn, shoud be on a track or something ...hint hint. Only had mine for a year now but would have been very disappointed if it was a smooth ride. I remember ridin in a brand new 1980 corvette and transversing my 1st set of railroad tracks. About killed me but damn that was a fine ride that I remembered for 24 years! I love the way my kidney's stop my heart each and every bump. Smooth ride? U didn't spend that money for that now did U?
