I am considering buying a pair of Dynomax UltraFlo SS mufflers, part nos. 17274 (LHS) and 12275 (RHS).
Does anyone have pics of these installed?
A sound clip would be great also!
Thanks in advance,
Ben.

I have the welded Dynomax Ultra Flows but I dont think they are the same as what you are asking about. They are pretty good for a flowmaster knockoff. They are loud.

Not the UltraFlo mufflers, but here's some pics of my old POS Super Turbos from Dynomax... Both mufflers rusted out from the inside at the rear hanger in less than 3 years... Of course there was no customer support from Walker for these lifetime warranty mufflers... They now reside in a landfill somewhere... These were the first and last Walker mufflers I'll ever buy...

The ultraflow mufflers flow 3 times what the flowmasters do, and IMO sound alot better. They are also stainless steel while the flowmasters arent. I wouldn't call them flowmaster knockoffs
I have some sound clips too, i will have to dig them up. These arent the greatest pics, but should give you an idea of what they look like. I still have yet to take a picture of my exhaust with it clean....
Its sad hearing about your experiences with the DynoMax LT-1 mufflers (note: these are entirely different than DynoMax Super Turbo or DynoMax Ultra Flow Mufflers).
The reason is this. I did lots of research on mufflers. I found that the ones you had (that now reside in a landfill) are pretty much the only ones that will give a performance improvement, stock looks, without increasing noise level much.
A lot of you like exxtra noise. But when you drive a vert, thats just not my style. Im all about performance, no noise. If you read product reviews you will see that most reviewers agreed that it gave a performance improvement (cant speak for the dynomax super turbo's or ultra flows).
The flowmaster 50 series couldnt compete with these either. Its just too bad it was a very undurable construction.

 I guess your right wheelman. I should be happier and talk better about what I have. They are straight through thats for sure.

I remember you posting about these once before (I think it was in response to me requesting info on them) and Walker's lousy customer service aside, do you think that there's anything that could have been done (such as painting them) that might have prolonged their life? Like Dizwiz, I too have heard that they do give a performance gain and are just about as quite as stock (which I also prefer). Thanks...

They did give me a performance increase, the most of any of the little mods done on the other car... I consistently ran .3 and 3mph faster with the mufflers... They did have a nice sound to them and until they rusted, I was quite happy with them... Aside from rusting out, I was most disappointed in Walker's customer service, or lack of I should say...
Painting them wouldn't have helped as they rusted from the inside out...

Actually they were Super Turbos, they were stamped as such on the top of the muffler... As far as noise, they weren't much louder than stock and sounded quite nice while giving a pretty good size performance boost just as you mentioned...
