Will I win my grudge match?
My best run out at the local 1/8th mile track was a 7.364@95.77mph.
I'm guessing it will do about 11.4 in the 1/4. Right?
I just changed out my rear end from a Dana36 w/ 2.59s to a Dana44 w/ 3.73s.
Any predictions on what it'll run now?
I've got a grudge match going against a 95 Impala (stock bottom) w/ 150 shot. His best ET was a 12.17 NA w/ slicks and skinnies. He hasn't run w/ the NOS yet.

I've never dyno'd my 95 Vette. Its a 396 stroker motor. In the 1/8th I've run 7.3s to 7.5s at about 96mph on drag radials with a 2.59 rear end and 3000 stall TC. I have not yet run with the new 3.73 gears I now have installed. My car weighs approx 3300
He has a 4000lbs. 350 heads and cam LT1 Impala w/ 4.10 gears and a 4000 stall TC. He put down 365rwhp all motor and ran a best of 8.0 in the 1/8. He just installed a 150 NX shot.
I guess my question is can he make up 7/10th in the 1/8mi with 150 shot of NOS?
And how much time will I make up going from 2.59s to 3.73s?
I'm not sure what other details are required to make an educated guess. I'm new to this drag racing and ET business. Thanks for your replies.

I think you will need slicks to hook up; then it should be a good race, as your estimate was nearly a full second quicker in the 1/4mile.

LOL I put the motor in and just couldn't wait to try it out. I was pushing it with drag radials on the D36. With the new D44, I'm ready for slicks now too!

His best run is 8.0 in the 1/8th. Only thing he's modified since is adding the 150 shot.
We're heading to the track next weekend. I'll definitely keep you all updated.
