Default 84 horn relay location

Can someone please send me a drawing of the horn circuit and tell me where the horn relay is located? Horm wont sound from steering wheel. I can get it to sound if I put 12V to horn input. I have a feeling the relay isn't working but don't know where it is or how the circuit works. Thanks

You need to pull of the bezel for the cluster then you can removed the center of the dash bezel where the info center is. Located behind the info center is the area referred to as the relay center. If you have the new one already it will be easy to identify the correct relay.

Have you checked to make sure the horn button and cap are making a true connection? The horn button just finishes making a ground connection and sometimes the spring loaded wiring going into the horn tower comes loose. Using a wire you can ground between the horn tower (put the wire inside so it contacts the spring used to keep preasure on the telescoping steering wheel) and ground it to the inside of the metal part of the steering wheel.

Hope this helps.
