Default Help with head mods

I had my LT4 heads ported and one of the things I did was make the stock roller rockers adjustable. However the studs I used 3/8" studs and the rockers are metric I believe, and they are a little loose by 18/1000 of an inch. Has anyone ever come across this problem? Any solutions

The stock LT4 rockers are different than the LT1 and L98 rockers. You'd probably have to get normal rockers to use with the 3/8th studs.

The ones that GMPP sells are for the LT1 and earlier style studs.

You either need to use stock 10 mm LT4 rocker studs, or buy a set of 3/8 rocker arms. I wouldn't run the 10 mm rockers with 3/8 studs.

I just had a hot cam installed in my LT4. I also chose to have the orginal LT4 non-adjustable (10 mm) rockers replaced with GMPP 3/8" stud rockers and 3/8" studs so that the rockers would be adjustable. The 18/1000 gap will bring trouble. The GMPP 3/8" rockers (part#12370839) cost $320 at paceperfromance.com

I guess i am out of luck. I was hoping to find a 7/16 screw in stud with a 10mm upper to use the same rocker. I will try the factory setup and check to make sure that it still works with the milled heads and different sized valves.
