Where to get caps for Hooker 2149s????
I am going to be plugging the AIR tubes on my new Hooker Headers (2149s.) Where can I get these caps?? They come in from Jet Hot any day, and they are going on Saturday. I have an 86. Thanks!

take your stock header with you to home depot and find a brass fitting that will fit. that is what i did. it will be less than 5 dollars for both fittings.

Half inch. Sounds better than carrying the header or old manfold in. What kinds of metal should they be made of? Do they make stainless steel or aluminum?? :cheers:

Scorp's right - I used brass. One easier solution would have been to take the valve that screws on the fitting (without the hose) with you to Home Depot, insert a male pipe into it for sizing, and then buy the female cap that fit. A lot easier than carrying the whole header. Paul
