Open the hood and under the Headlight area you will see the plastic housings for the bulbs.Locate the bulb that needs replacing then turn the bulb socket counter clockwise (they look like big tabs or switches)pull it out ,replace bulb and reinstall.
Thats what I thought, but when I look at mine, it is a round housing (I beleive that the ground goes in at the top hole, as this is loose, which is the root of the problem). Turning this counter clockwise moves it around 1.5 cm but no further. Do you think that this might be just a bit jammed, or am I doing something wrong?
Use a dab of bulb grease (or petroleum jelly) in the socket to prevent corrosion from rusting the connectors, too. I also like to coat the socket threads with a light coating of white lithium grease to prevent moisture from intruding on the lens assembly, too.
You're probably right but I bit the bullet and moved the charcoal canister and solenoid to gain access to the bulb.
I now have something else that intrigues me.....why has the orange bulb got 2 filaments in it when it only works as a turn signal and not running lights?
