Calling all horsepower/weight experts
I was chatting with a guy last night. He has a '03 coupe that he says he runs low 11's with at Lebanon Valley.(it's Electron Blue, anyone know him?) Anyway he has a Vortex Rammer air box, some internals, and a strange sounding exhaust. He boasts 510 hp at the wheels. Will this HP run low 11's in a C5? Given all conditions good, how much HP would be needed to run low 11's in a C4?

510 HP is plenty to run low 11's if you are getting comparable hook. One of the motors I had in my Nova made 480 hp and 490 lb ft. and it ran 11.30s. 60' times were 1.48 - 1.52 and it weighed 3,400 without me.
Since the C4 and C5 are within a few hundred pounds, making similar HP will get a C4 in the same range.

I seen a z-06 with drag radials, and a different air cleaner run in the high 11's He claimed it was all stock except for the above mentioned. Thats 405 hp doing that.
